I have the honor to request that the Statute Law Revision Committee may be informed how far the opinion of the Secretary of State, the provisions of the Chinese Passengers Act 1855 (18 & 19 Vict, c 106) have been superseded by Legislation in Hong Kong and whether certain portions of that Act affecting Hong Kong may not be repealed.

The Under Secretary of State for the Colonies to be informed.
